Positions included in this report must be regular, permanent, empty & vacant between 0-12 months

Report includes the following definitions:

Total Empty and Vacant Positions: number of permanent, regular positions that have been vacant (no base incumbent) and empty (no current incumbent) for 12 months or fewer. This number excludes position that have been continuously vacant or empty for more than 12 months.

Total Days Empty and Vacant: total number of days that permanent positions are continuously empty and vacant for 12 months and fewer.

Average Days Vacant: calculated by dividing “total days empty and vacant” by “total empty and vacant positions.”
