How to navigate to and within HR Analytics
The purpose of this page is to provide information on accessing and navigating the various reports on the HR Analytics site.
Technical Notes
Ensure you are using a BC Public Service issued workstation
Use a DTS or VPN connection if you are working remotely (away from BC Public Service office location)
Log on with your email/IDIR credentials
Browsers: try Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
Where to access HR Analytics
HR Analytics link: HR Analytics
Only approved users can access the HR Analytics site directly.
When you click on the HR Analytics link, you will be directed to the HR Analytics home page.

If you are unable to access the site, you will receive the message “Sorry this item hasn’t been shared with you.” It may indicate your Data Access Agreement is still being processed or your access has concluded. Please submit a MyHR ticket for assistance.
Site Navigation
Use the search feature in the top right corner to look for specific reports or search for report details here in Confluence
The quick access menu provides links to commonly used reports by report grouping
Viewing Reports
Reports on the HR Analytics site are displayed using a Report Viewer. The image below shows the report viewer which has three layout areas: parameters, navigation and content.
The Parameter panel is where you manipulate data sets to display the scope of information needed
Be sure to click on the Apply button to run the report
Use the Actions drop down menu to export the reports in different formats like Excel
